Connecting your API key

Your API key allows Tradion to execute trades on your behalf. We never have access to withdraw funds.

Step 1: Create an API key on your exchange

Each exchange has its own process. Visit your exchange's API management page:

Bybit: Account → API Management → Create New Key

Binance: Account → API Management → Create API

Step 2: Set the right permissions

Your API key needs:

✅ Read permission (required)

✅ Trade/Order permission (required)

❌ Withdraw permission (not needed — keep this OFF for safety)

Step 3: Add the key to Tradion

Go to Settings → API Keys

Select your exchange

Paste your API Key and Secret

Click Save

Security

Your credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We never store plain-text keys.

Common issues

"Invalid API key" — Double-check that you copied the full key without extra spaces

"Permission denied" — Make sure Trade/Order permission is enabled

"IP restricted" — If your key has IP restrictions, contact support for our server IPs
